About Asafoods Limited
Asafoods Limited has established a rice production project on 120 hectares of the Kpong left Bank Irrigation Project (KLBIP) located at Torgome in the Volta Region of Ghana under the Ghana Commercial Agriculture Project (GCAP).
As an agro-processing company, Asafoods Limited has conducted research into farm management and food processing and employ modern agricultural and environmentally sustainable techniques to maximize the yield of the farm, while at the same time achieve efficiencies in water management for the benefit of the entire community.
The proponents of the company are Ghanaian residents and foreign investors who are committed to the ideals of good farm management and leverage the expertise and skills of both local and international commercial farming with skills and expertise in the agricultural and food processing industry for the effective implementation of the project.
Our operations are geared towards growing high demand, high value crops and products for both the local and export market. We also envisage our operations to result in food security and sustainability for Ghana.
